Context
Storytelling is where I started, and I still develop film and TV projects with Jackson Entertainment.
What I did
The Crest is a Jackson Entertainment production with a story by Sarah Reasons: nightmares of a mythical creature push a teen from wealthy Mercer Island to investigate the people closest to her, and the island's secrets start to surface. I co-produced it.
Slam Dumped is a feature I co-wrote and co-produced with Sarah, drawn partly from our own dating disasters. A viral revenge app turns bad dates into payback, until love gets in the way. I also built the commercial pitch deck.
Results
The Crest won Best TV/Episodic at the New Media Film Festival and was selected for the Oscar-accredited LA Shorts festival. Slam Dumped is in the pitching phase, looking for the right team to bring it to the screen.
